Wonderful, stay at Villa Bule. The garden is beautiful and so peaceful. Many thanks to Sam for all her suggestions and very quick responses.
The photographs of Villa Bule do not do it justice. It is a beautifully designed, secluded, modern villa, with carefully chosen decor - it probably helps if you like Industrial Chic, but it is not overpowering. There’s an excellent boulangerie within 3 minutes drive, and the Spar 10 minutes away has everything you need including a wonderful fish counter. Both the old town and the harbour of Porto Vecchio are under 10 minutes by car. We had a lovely stay, and would thoroughly recommend it.
Loved the villa and the geckos as we don't get any of them at home! Overall Villa Bule was great, short drive to everything including the port which has a lovely restaurant and a great market on a Thursday. Amazing pool which we enjoyed playing games in with the kids. Thank you.
Glorious Corsica much enjoyed by all once again. Villa Bule's home comforts and excellent location worked its magic on us. 5 minutes to a great boulangerie and cave des vins helps the day start well. Enjoyed many beaches, Pinarellu is a family favourite, St Cyprien has plenty of cafes and parking to recommend it.
The photos of Villa Bule do not do it justice - it’s a very cool piece of architecture as well as a fantastic holiday home. Kitted out superbly with a chef level kitchen and BBQ and a big TV with Netflix for time out of the sun. The downstairs bedrooms & interconnecting bathroom were just made for our teenage sons and we all especially loved the beautiful pool and garden. A special shout out to our concierge, Roberto who was absolutely fantastic in helping us book restaurants etc. Location fantastic. Thank you!
Villa Bule is modern, stylish, and comfortable. We loved it.
A lovely relaxed week in Villa Bule. The villa was a delight, one of the nicest we’ve stayed in. Obviously planned, built and equipped with huge thought. The pool was perfect for relaxing and reading by. We know there are many lovely beaches but once we visited Rondinara we stopped going anywhere else. Just over a 30-minute drive, it is blissful. Almost empty in the morning …. fantastic. Other than on a drizzly we drove to Zoza and the Col de Bevalla and looped back. Now that was a twisty drive but really interesting. Inevitably, sorry to be leaving, but his has been a great villa for a week.
Beautiful Corsica is a family favourite and it is our second stay at the architectural marvel that is Villa Bule. (It is nice to have a holiday home which surpasses our own home). Much busier than we are accustomed to (we usually go in May), so head to the beaches early – Rondinara is lovely and we also like St Cypriano and Pinarello (excellent swimming). We took Kimberley’s advice and visited the rock pools – well worth doing. (In fact, all Kimberley’s suggestions were good and nothing was too much trouble). She is a dreamboat. We had fun with the plancha. We were recommended Chez Ali in Porto Vecchio for meat and we also bought fish from the poissonerie near the marina. Local cheese also enjoyed by us (the ‘fragrance’ less enjoyed by the children. Another blissful Corsican escape. We will be back.
Started out holiday in a hotel in Bonifacio – fabulous place to visit and stay in. Enjoyed a very chilled week here. Particular highlights being a mountain trip to Zoza and Col de Bevalla and back along the coast. The rock pools are beautiful to swim in. Wonderful beaches, Plages de Palombaggia, Tamaricciu, Rondinara and Santa Giulia. Many thanks Kimberley for all your help and information.
We have had a lovely holiday in Villa Bule. We went to the last point along the road, up a mountain. The view was superb. We went to Bonifacio where we went on a boat trip. We also had a lovely lunch along the waterfront. The walk to Porto Vecchio was around 20 minutes. The cocktail bar Othello was lovely and makes great cocktails. The pool was lovely and enjoyed by everyone. We went to the Boulangerie every day for breakfast which was lovely. On our last day we went to Palombaggia. Some people say it is the best beach in Corsica. We had a lovely swim and the water was very clear and warm and afterwards we had a meal in Cala di Lume. We have enjoyed a wonderful holiday in Corsica. Thank you, Simpson Travel!
We have had such a wonderful week in the gorgeous Villa Bule! The villa is brilliantly kitted out and has everything we need – little extras like a parasol for the beach and lilo pumps have made all the difference. It’s our first holiday in Corsica and it’s now a firm family favourite. We love the beaches, especially Palombaggia, and its crystal-clear water. Porto Vecchio old town and Bonifacio were both lovely to visit in the evenings. The service from Kimberley at Simpson Travel has been exceptional – thank you Kimberley.
Lovely villa, beautiful pool – very well maintained. Favourite beach – Fautea – good for swimming and snorkelling and a good restaurant. Interesting trip to Bonifacio – boat trip and excellent meal in the citadel. (La Loggia next to the church). Liked the River Cavu with its three piscines, swimming and café. Many thanks to Kimberley for her suggestions and for sorting out our minor problems so promptly.
Lovely villa in pretty adventurous surroundings. Pool side shower lovely, a warm pool, slightly warmer for young children when commented on, thank you. Cooking facilities very good, loved the barbeque. Very luck with the weather which made our stay all the more enjoyable. Lots of good times spent by the pool but also managed a visit to lovely beaches nearby and restaurants. Walked into town in a short time, and nearby boulangerie exceptional.
Relaxing week at the beautiful Villa Bule after an adventurous few days around the mountains further north around Corte. It was lovely to explore the incredible beaches of the South Coast – Palombaggia was the highlight and we would recommend the one hour hike to Fazio cove near Bonifacio. Great food, particularly the Corsican charcuterie – and there are some beautiful restaurants with views over the coast – Terramea was a highlight. Kimberley has been fantastic, really helpful and friendly – all in all a fantastic stay on this beautiful island!
A beautiful villa, set in beautiful grounds – you couldn’t ask for more. Kimberley is fabulous and we would highly recommend you act on her recommendations! Every place and restaurant she suggested was outstanding! We have had a great week. Thank you.
Having just returned from staying at Villa Bule, we found the accommodation to be well equipped and clean. Kimberley, the local Simpson Travel representative, was super friendly and helpful and nothing was too much bother. The welcome pack was one of the best we have had and we can definitely recommend the local rosé wine! There’s plenty to do nearby – beautiful crystal clear waters and white sandy beaches, historic towns and lovely beach side cafés. All in all a wonderful break on a beautiful island.
This was the central week of our honeymoon to Corsica. We LOVED everything about Villa Bule. We honestly couldn't fault a single thing about it, it was heaven. This was our first experience using Simpson Travel, but definitely won't be our last. Absolutely brilliant, and huge thanks to everyone involved for making our honeymoon so special!
First trip to Corsica, hopefully not our last. House is spectacular; loved walking around the garden at different times of the day. Thank you Simpson Travel!
This is our third trip to Corsica and we have visited regions from north to south. All areas are beautiful in different ways. We love Villa Bule, it is in a very convenient location and is very well kept and fitted with everything required for the perfect holiday. We are also impressed with the knowledge and help from the rep Samantha, she has also helped to make this a memorable stay on a wonderful island. Thank you.
Our third trip to Corsica with Simpson Travel and excellent service as always. Samantha was very helpful. Bonifacio is definitely worth a visit. Villa lovely, lots of space, fantastic location and family area. Had everything we needed.
Our choice of Corsican properties is as diverse as the island itself, ranging from simple seaside charm to genuine luxury and style. Much of our portfolio is privately owned, and price alone is therefore not a universal guide. We contract all our accommodation in person, and each property has its individual appeal. To help you make the right choice based on your own priorities, we have devised a simple grading guide to be considered in conjunction with each individual property description, awarding up to a maximum of five stars for the below categories.
